Help unbricking Mio Moove M300

Hello!

I have a problem with above mentioned GPS. When you power it on, the the screen shows that you have to connect it to a computer. So i did and started Mio More Desktop to try reinstall the software. But that option was grayed out. so I made a backup of a working Moove M300, and copy it in the defective one. But during file transfer the unit god disconnected, and now its stuck on orange Mio loading screen. Now there is no USB connection. I tried draining the battery and then connect it to USB but no go. I managed to enter the service mode by connecting the ground with 9th pin on the flash chip. But how to navigate through that menu? Bare in mind that Moove M300 does not have a SD slot, nor any buttons only a power slider switch, and it has integrated 2gb flash.

INSTRUCTION

1. Format SD card to FAT and copy Cobia_300_32 to root folder on SD card

2. Open sat nav , take out mainboard and remove metal parts which cover chipsets

3. Inside you should see TSOP 48 NAND FLASH. Connect permanently pin no.19 (write
protect) with pin no. 12 (VCC) .Next I make short-circuit pin. 9 with GND in different
moments when I turn on sat nav (SD Card inside).

4. After few moments sat nav was reading files from SD card. You should get 2 options :
USERMODE and SUPERMODE. Choose first one, click OK then restart your MIO.

5. You should see blue service screen.

It was working for me on MIO MOOVE 200. I have tried many times with success.

That does not help me because I don't have USB connection with the device. TY for your reply.

As I mentioned Moove M300 has no SD card slot only 2gb internal memory. TY for your reply.

I've got the VERY SAME PROBLEM as metalac666. Where can i download DNW program?
