    Did you copy ALL files from the C520 folder to the root of the SD card?

    Re: Visual - Mio Moov GPS unlock/shell

    I´m a happy VisualGPS user since last year. Thanks a lot from this amazing work. My brazilian Mio S505 has a new lif now!

    But I´m facing a little cosmetic problem. I have downloaded and custom iGo Primo package, and a another package user has designed an .ICO file for the package.

    The file has the .ICO extension. And Windows Explorer says it´s a 100x100 icon file, just as other regular .ICO files, provided by VisualGPS.

    I copied this file to the \Visual\Skin\Icons folder (stored on my Mio S505 internal flash memory, as the other parts of the VisualGPS package) and has pointed to it, editing the Visual.ini, as follows:

    (...)

    [Primo]
    PATH=\Storage Card\Infinity\Infinity.exe
    PATH2=\Storage Card\Primo\Primo.exe
    PATH3=\Storage Card\Enterprise\Enterprise.exe
    ICON3=\Storage Card\Visual\Skin\Icons\Primo-Enterprise.ico
    (...)

    All navigator are stored on external microSD flash card.

    But the Primo menu doesn´t show the third icon... :-(

    So, my question: has the .ICO VisualGPS file a special format? I noticed, indeed, that all .ICO provided has the same 40,6Kb, while my custom Primo-Enterprise.ico is big as 149Kb!

    Thanks for any help!

    Best regards,
    Luis Santos

    Yes, those are real icons. First of all, you need ALL icons in an icon pack (or folder). You also need icons.ini file which you can edit, i.e.:

    Code:
    [Main]
    name=Icons.Back_in_Black
    author=Dalibor Lanik
    url=http://projects.lanik.org
    Then, and most important, icons must be 100x100 pixels in size. I think that is all...

    cheers,
    D.

    Re: Visual - Mio Moov GPS unlock/shell

    Hi dalanik.

    I am running the latest version of Visual (v115.01) on a Mio C320 Digiwalker and am having a very similar problem to that in post #597.

    For me it's a new install, rather than an upgrade, but much of the rest is similar.

    Visual itself is installed using "method A" and boots up fime when I insert the SD card. However, although I have selected iGO8 and Primo as my alternative GPS navigators, the icons for iGO8 and Primo insist that the programs are not installed. (Like in post #597, I am able to run the programs by double-clicking on them, so they are there and working.)

    A look at the visual.ini file shows that the paths of the two alternative programs were correctly written to the file, so the failure to recognise the programs is puzzling.

    FYI, I ntried switching the pages off and on as you recommended, but it had no effect.
