Probably the shell part would work if the resuloution is 480x272 but the unlock part would have to be modified. If you have time, you can try playing with unlock.mscr in visual.ins and Auto.mscr in visual.auto folders.

good to read you are back on this forum.
I'm looking for an unlock for my mio moov 500 which I can run fully from my SD Card. I tried yours but as you mentionede, everything works except it doesn't launch MioMap 2008. Has there been another bright guy who has solved this ? In other simple unlocks I read the instructions to change the miomap.exe in a miomap folder within the programs folder. Om my mio moov there is however no miomap folder to find: there is a navman folder and the program seems to be started with the SmartST_CE.exe file in there.
May be the bug in the SD unlock version is due to a scripting that is based on finding a miomap.exe file instead of looking for the SmartST_CE.exe file ?
I'm not an expert here, but hopefully this might help those who are to get the bug out ?

Did you se tthe path to Navman's SmartCE (or what it's called) in Visual setup? Just set it as MioMap and as Default programs.

I guess I was not clear enough with my question here.
My question is not about Visual, I tried the simple unlock that runs completely of the SD Card from your website which works except it doesn't launch MioMap 2008. You mention this bug on your website, I just wonder if there is a solution for it allready.

I managed to get MioMap 2008 working on my Mio moov 500 with the unlock/Shell by changing "Default" on the System page "Set paths to GPS programs" to "My Flash Disk\Program Files\Navman\SmartST_CE\Smart_CE.exe".

But I am running the unlock/Shell from "My Flash Disk" not from "SD".
I tried to run it from SD by modifying all "My Flash Disk\Visual" to "Storage Card\Visual" the hole initialization works but halt after completing the GPS init.
VisualShell.exe does not start.

What did you do to get it running from "SD" ?

Rick: The unlocks are much more stable when running from Flash than from SD. That is why I made it so it must run from Flash. Also nav programs - I strongly suggest that you put all your nav programs on flash and maps on SD.
