Could anyone help me, I have bricked M400 ver. R09.00.0930.64M

If someone has the same version, please reply, I am desperately searching the web and still cannot recover my device.

Also if someone want to know how to do it, I am willing to explain everything in details...

I've a m400 but R12.
What's your problem with this device?

Hello Everyone,
Im a new member here..been doing a lot of research on how to UNLOCK my MIO MOOV m400. However I am a bit hesitant to unlock my M400 for the reason that I do not want to mess the system. Therefore I would appreciate if anyone has the complete step by step details on how to install the software to unlock M400.

- Onboard Flash Memory only (1.7 Gig)

Should i completely delete all the files on the flash drive?

What is the proper procedure to install the GPS without any issues or problems?
Which version of GPS should be installed?
Any website where all the instructions are available?
Where can i get the south and central america maps?

Don't delete anything from the flash drive unless you know what you are doing. As for maps and software etc. It's all here just search the site and read up on what to do.
Personally the only software that I could get to work without any problems on my Mio Moov 300 was iGO8 unlocked with miopocket. (just seems that my particular gps didn't like other set ups, other people didn't have the same problems).

* install software to your liking (I recommend iGo Primo)

Any you like, but best to install latest version

Hello NRT and Dalanik,
I proceed the following steps:

1. downloaded visual_GPS_v112.01.rar

2. Extracted the file on PC.gps1.jpg ( attached is the setup of the files on the Flash)

3. Copied 3 files on the flash drive of Mio M00v M400 to root folder of the flash drive. Visual, Visual.auto and Visual.ins

4. Edited the appstartupsec.ini in editor located at \My Flash Disk\Program Files\Navman\ and saved the modified ini file

5. unplugged the USB and let the system bootup.

6. System was able to boot and diaplay the MIO, GPS on the first page.

7. Now I wanted to use the MIO maps since i already have then for USA.

8. I select the USB icon, connect the usb connector and then go to System---------------->Mio

9. Press MioMap and set path to your miomap program \\My Flash disk\Program Files\Navman\SmartST_CE\SmartST_CE.exe

10. The MIO navigaition icon does not appear on the screen even after reset.

Can you please assist me in for the following:

- MIO and IGO icons and other navigation icons do not appear on the display screen? (especially IGO and MIO icons have disappeared)
- MIO and its maps I already have on the flash drive but how can I use them?
- How can I use TOM TOM and GARMIN?
- The GPS does not work its not showing any satellites at all?

Try pressing button of SD card on 2nd info screen.

Where do I copy the IGO Primo folder to on the flash drive?
