Unpack the RAR file and copy the following 2 folders: navigonsd and navigon to your hard drive. The navigonsd folder are the files for the ROM upgrade. The navigon folder contains the new software.

You have three options 1) ROM upgrade or 2) Software upgrade only or 3) ROM and Software upgrade.
1) Either way you'll need to unpack the navigonsd onto the root directory of your SD Card. And do reset to install the ROM update.
or
2) Copy all the files in the navigon folder over to the root directory of your newly formated SD Card. ADD your Maps to the navigon/maps directory and reboot ie hard reset, not factory reset.
or
3) Do 1 and 2 in two seperate steps.

Hello!
I've put navigon folder to internal memory of my PNA(NAVIGON folder) and navigonsd to the SD card, but when I reseted it didnt upgraded and it became german and said something like theres no map on the card( I didn't put the map on yet) after that message it went dark. Can somebody help me?

hi all,

i have the same problem with my navigon 43xx
i was able to upgrade the rom of my navigon 43xx it took about 3 minutes
but after that it say keine mape werden gefunden (no maps are founded) after this the navgation is shutting down

could please anyone help me?
i need my navigation
