How to repair Navigon (1400) software?

How i can add new maps on Navigon Primo(1400p)? First there was only Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
I downloaded few more maps put it show them i can search addresses and locations but the map is white. What i need do that it works fine?
Or can i put this device some another navigation program? If yes then can you give me some good link.

i think that most gps navigators CAN be updated from SD card, but if there are that many problems my suggestion would be to take that navi to warranty repair, if warranty time is still on.
