Got that Navman the other day but cant find anything usefull about it, what's best thing to do with it and what can be done regarding maps update?

Hi.
I have a problem with a Navman F45. It worked alright, just that the SmartST_CE expired or something like this and was runing in demo version.
I saved everything from the device on my desktop and start looking for a solution.
I read about different ways to make it work, and after a few attempts which did not work, I found MioPocket. After each failed attempt I tryed the device with the initial settings and everything worked as before, but after trying to install MioPocket (with some detailed instructions), the device did not turn on anymore. Even if I format everything and copy all back on it, it just does not want to start. It keeps reseting.
Any ideeas?
My goal (if I did not break it) is to install on it something which works (tomtom/igo/ etc.)
