all navman unlock!!!

Hi,
New to all this.
I have a Navman mio 475 and wondered if it could be unlocked and then TomTom put on it?
If so, please could someone tell me how I go about it or point me in the right direction.

I've managed to unlock my 475 mio using the above info.
Please could someone tell me how to put tomtom onto the device or point me in the right direction?

can anyone tell me if i need the smartsd (connection) cd/software to unlock my navman icn 750 and load the igo8 maps,
as the unit i have bought of ebay came with everything but the connection cd's and has a dud battery which i'm planning to replace if i can unlock it.

You don't need the cd, just make a backup of the navman files first.

I have the same model satnav. Would you be kind enough to post step by step instructions on how you unlocked it? and which version of the maps you used? This would be very helpful as I'm new to this forum and right now could use any help or advice offered!
