    Re: Navman F10

One thing I just remember, with the shortcuts thing, on the wiki link, there is:

    Where:

"\My Flash Disk\Navman\Lightning\NavcarCE.exe" is the verbose filename of the program

Do I need to put literally 'My Flash Disk' or is there some other term needed for the SD card, I dug around and found a SD card, 1-2 hours of looking for the F10 patch for SDHC with nothing helpful meant I'd rather look for a SD card, just don't know what I put at the start, (name of volume of the SD card?) or My Flash Disk etc..

Thanks again, you give LOTS of good help from what I've seen

Ok, once again I hit a dead end. I run FastActivatePremium, it needs 2.bif files, I think I read you need to run the navigator software (once?) on the F10, the catch22, I don't know how to run stuff, and if I need that shortcut/apps thing from the wiki, I don't know the correct syntax to make the file/.lnk or whatever I need to tomtom navigator or whatever software.. And every google/research result I get, points to that forum (navman-whatever) which appears to have lost it's domain so there is only a domain blurb/buy me type ad in it's place.

The actual domain is ForumWise - Free Forum Hosting , and as said, a domain ad is there now, not the actual forum...

WOW thanks, looks like your iGO link will be a goer. I'm getting the June 2011 igo Australian stuff from elsewhere on here, so hopefully this works, I'll just make some room on the f10, probably delete it's map (I have it all backed up, first thing I did) and put the igo stuff on it..

Hopefully should be working by tonight or tomorrow.. VERY happy, I just can't get tomtom to run due to that navmanunlocked forum being 'gone'. Seems everyone points how to run stuff on navman from there, but since it's down, the actual help can't be read

I think September 18.3 is the latest map.

    Re: Navman F10

Hi, I have an F10 and am looking to jailbreak and install new maps.

I have visited the links as suggested earlier in the thread and have had limited success..

I have downloaded the Mio Moov software, saved it on the SD card installed in the F10 and 'Installed to desktop'.

Now when I boot the F10 I get a MS Windows style 'start' task bar and an icon 'start st' before it boots to the normal Navman software.

I assume at this point the F10 has been unlocked but I still need to download thirdparty software and maps?...Sound ok so far?

Where can I find the Tom Tom software and maps suitable for this>

Apologies for the hand holding required- I am struggling as many of the guides and links seem to be dead now....

Tomtom software: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service goes on the root of the sd card, you will need to find a basic map for which country you want. Just exactly what program did you use to unlock it with, this one here or a different one? Also hope you have made a backup of the F10 before you did anything.

Australian maps for......? You won't find any maps for the Navman here, but you could try running iGO8.3 or TomTom.
