This map is for Clio 2000-2006 with VDO navigation system, Clio4(2013) have a LG media navigation, it's a kind of winCE device with IGo/Primo installed.
It's a new device and you have to manage by yourself how to patch and use/add other maps on it.

Hi,

I've a BMW E39 car (year 1999).

So, my cd reader is MKII and it supports only CDs.

I wanted to burn the map of France. So I downloaded it and extracted it. After the extraction, the folder has a size of 830MB. I tested the Overburning method with Nero but I've got an error after the burn (but I've got these three files on my cd). I tried to insert the cd into my car but after few seconds, the cd reader reject it.

So, anyone has a solution for me?

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your job, downloaded, burnt at lowest speed (1x)... CD went out even better than factory one .... but still no way to make it work. should it be a problem with my built-in system? Once CD inserted the line "GPS Navigation" on display goes away and there is no way to activate it. Do I need some sort of system update or something else?
Should you have any ideas I would be really happy to learn if magic solution exists

Probably you have problems with laser lens. Clean it and try again.

I followed your advice, ran cd cleaner it didn't do the work though. I have now "No CD inserted" message... I might be wrong with my system (how could I know the right name/version built?)

a 99 cd mech (loader 2.1) will not read any RW disc and you need to burn the disc as image not as files, it will fit a 700mb disc without overburning because the map is in MODE2 format which lets you burn almost 800 mega onto a disc but you have to write it as an image, use IMGburn 'burn image' button and you will be fine

most probably you have a failed firmware in your navigation computer or the laser failed in your reader. you said you have an ORIGINAL MAP disc right? does the reader spin it up? or it spits out without spinning it? let's stick to the original that's sure to be good. can u enter the 'gps navigation' menu before it goes out? (eg no cd inserted)

No, I don't have any ORIGINALs , the only thing I found on ads is this DVD GPS pour Rover 75 et MG ZT Equipement Auto Allier - leboncoin.fr , I wonder if such old thing could be useful ...
