    Here are the device specs:

    -SiRF Atlas V (600MHz CPU)
    -SiRF A5 GPS module inside
    -Window CE 6.0
    -5.0 inches true colour LCD touch screen (480 x 272)
    -128MB DDR2 RAM inside
    -Built-in Bluetooth,
    -Built-in FM Transmitter
    -A Micro SD / TF card reader, supports upto 16GB Micro SD / TF card. 4GB flash memory is built inside the gps.

    Any hints on starting the jobs are very welcomed

    Also, is there any way to execute a cab file in the device without having to unlock it?

    Thanks in advace.

    I have one also. I would like to make it so I don't have to hit auto direct after each time the unit was shut down or the the GPS was not enabled. That is a pain. any ideas.

    I'm going to assume that you mean "auto detect" and not auto direct. If that is correct, next time you auto detect the gps receiver , note the port " and baudrate, and add those items to the sys.txt file in this format;

    [gps]
    baud="9600"
    port="4"
    source="nmea"

    on my china device you need to tap the lower right corner a few times, then tap lower left corner once and it goes to the windows desktop. or vice versa. just try, might work for you
