    Thank you dohcacr.
I don't plan on uninstalling Miopocket, it works fine.
I'd like to know how to remove the programs I can't use though.
Is there a write up &/or way to do this?

I haven't even looked at miopocket in several years. You can get support for miopocket at the gpspassion forum.

Wow! A lot of great information and work has gone into this thread! If you still monitor the posts would it be possible to get a pm link to the Primo for NS-NAV01? Thanks!

Re: insignia NS-NAV01 and NS-NAV01c and miopocket

I was able to put the Miopocket on my Insignia NAV01, however I can not find out how to put the maps on it. I will like to have an app that uses the original Naviteq map files it came with I still have and use Igo Primo on it. How do I create an Naviteq app using the original map and how do you install the Igo Primo map?? Can someone please PM me the Igo Primo map as I do not want to buy a map only to have it not work as I do not know what I am doing. Thanks so much.

The original Nav01 navteq maps will not work with IGO8 or IGO Primo. They are the wrong format, and very out of date. If you want to use IG08, you would install IGO8 on the SD card, download the maps that you want to use and copy the maps to /sdcard/igo8/content/.

Re: insignia NS-NAV01 and NS-NAV01c and miopocket

Hopefully this is still a monitored thread.....???

I just picked this unit up off ebay for a few bucks... & was looking at what could be done to upgrade the maps. It is the US NS-NAV01 I have rooted a few android tablets and phones before so this shouldn't (wishful thinking) be that much of an issue. I guess I need the Primo 2.0 specifically configured for the nav01.? and any other files for the GPS??? Plus is this a matter of just loaded the SD Card or will I need to do some "unlocking" to the software on the GPS?

    Thanks for the help.
