This download is a universal unlock for 480x272 GPS devices that run their nav software from an SD card. It was first made available by xtyler92, and includes detailed instructions on how to install and manipulate the the menu system. It should work with most devices that use firmware to start the GPS software on a SD card. If you have questions, I'll try to answer them, but having any special insight into a specific GPS installation, really requires having the gps in hand.
Keep in mind that this is only a menu system. It's setup to start Garmin, Tom Tom, Igo, Navigon, and many other nav apps, but you will have to install your choice of navigation software after you get the menu system working on your device.

thank you a lot
Your welcome. What kind of a device did you use the universal sd unlock on?
Hi!
Do you have this for 320x240 PNA's?
I'm looking for a really plain-vanilla unlock, with a basic CE desktop and companion DLL's where I can add apps that I want, not a laundry-list of crap!
Thanks!
This Universal SD Unlock was created by xtyler92 and about the same time he posted downloads for 320x240 PNAs and other resolutions. I had no need for the other resolutions, so all I downloaded at the time was the 480x272. Thousands of others did download the 320x240 Universal SD Unlock, so it's got to be out there somewhere. I Googled it and came up with these hits.. With a little patience, you may be able to find a legitimate download. Keep in mind that most of xtyler's Unlocks were for Mio devices. The "Universals" were for the rest of us.

Used on TREELOGIC - MODEL 4302b with Navitel (iGO8 GUI), iGO8 and iGO Amigo.
Working 100%.
Thank you very much for this nice upload, it helped me a lot!

Glad you were able to take advantage of the technology. It was originally made available by xtyler92.
It was not designed to work with wince6, and I've not tried it. It's still possible that it could work. What have you got to loose? 30 minutes of your time? Why not give it a try and post your results here?
