As of 23 Apr 11, it looks like the NAV01 deal is over, however it appears that Best Buy now has the NAV02 on sale for $50 (from $130).
I don't know what the quality of the NAV02 is compared to the NAV01 -- caveat emptor.

Anybody who bought this unit having problems with it shutting off while driving? It's happening with original SD card infrequently, seems to be more when sun is hitting it. It is also happening very frequently when using a different SD card from which I run Mio with IGo8 or TomTom. Note, this is only when driving. I can have this guy running all day on my desk with IGo trying to take me somewhere, no problems. I'll have to try it with Mio only running while I'm driving, see if it also makes it turn off.

Actually, it's not really turning off, because then I would be able to easily turn it back on. It seems that it locks up (because no more voice prompts), and the screen is dark. There is still a backlight or something on, but not the screen contents. I've checked Insignia forums, searched google, couldn't find anything useful other than a similar problem on a Navigon or something.

I'd just exchange it, but no longer stocked in stores, and not on website. I'm thinking I've got a defective unit, but if anybody has come across this, please let me know!

I agree, it sounds like a hardware problem.
