Eonon D1303 with G3001 GPS receiver

Hi, I'm new to GPS

I've recently got a 1-Din Headunit bundled together with a GPS receiver

Eonon G1303 | Car GPS | Car DVD GPS | 1 Din Car GPS DVD

I've installed in perfectly into my car.

The problem I have is this, When I put in my SD card into the GPS receive it will say on a screen which says 'Car Navigation System' and freeze there

There is no way for me to choose path of the GPS software I have on my SD card

I have also followed instructions from Eonon, they kept asking to choose path but I cant

Any experts/gurus that can help me to understand is it the GPS's issue or my issue?

I just wanted to know if there are such thing as autorun GPS software without choosing the *.exe files?

I suppose Eonon will be considered china brand GPS

I also tried to the Mio Device unlock, but it doesnt work. I've also tested on both SD card slot (on the headunit and GPS card slot) both doesnt do anything

Autorun will kill your device.

What is the original software that comes with unit.
Or it comes empty without any software.
Any original SD card / sdmmc that comes with your headunit.

What the CE Version and ram support
Hope it was not MIPS system - then you have problem looking for software.

My only advice never install any unlocks in China GPS units.

There isnt any software that come with the unit because it was bundle with other country maps which i do not live in.

There isnt any original SD card/sdmmc too. It's on Win CE 5.0

I didnt wanted to unlock it, I just want to have my GPS to work. Trying the unlock was my last resort, but it didnt work anyway.

I tried to install iGO and also Sygic which Eonon support says it should be working.

Just couldnt go into the system and change *.exe path

Hope there is more advise from the gurus to help me.

Any help will be very appreciated.

Is there such thing as autorun? If it does, I believe I could set the autorun file to run the application which is on the device, no?

What is old software name and maps.
Your device might have embedded or lock ROM for certain software to work.

The solution is there.

i think the Eonon was working with PolNav, I'll try that first

hi i had the same problem and now i got it fixed!!!! and working with garmin
instead pay for maps and the program in the eonon web page
this one is fast and cheaper!!! and also you got it with garmin software that have
almost all the maps!!!

Hey care to ellborate on what exactly you mean by Garmin ?
which version ? where to find it ?
map packs ?
