    Deleted all files.

    Most common error is..

“Error: Asset failed at CDP_StreetlistField.CPP: 646 in Garmin Mobile XT with error 0”

This is when I hit the "Where am I" icon

Here's another version of garmin. This one runs on one of my WinCE6 device.

Unzip contents of garmin_nvpr.rar into \sdmmc\garmin directory.

    Delete all contents of \sdmmc\garmin\rungmxt\settings.

No need to rename your gmapsupp.img.

    Hey many thanks.

As I was having so many problems, this afternoon I decided to try Igo8 on the unit.

It works perfectly so I think I am going to stick with Igo8 at the moment.
I did try your latest version, but it is still giving me problems which I am sure is down as much to my inexperience.

Thanks for your help I have learnt a lot.

Finally on the Igo8 side can you confirm some questions I have?

In the Igo section. When I download the Speedcam file, it is a .txt file. Do I just change this to a .spud file?

Are my favorate addresses kept in the userdata folder?

Do the FPA, HNR, FTR files go in the Map folder with the corresponding map?

Just put the txt file in the content/speedcam folder and IGO will convert it to a speedcam.spdb the first time you reboot the device.

    \content\building folder: 3dc, 3dl files.

    \content\dem folder: dem files.

    \content\histspeed folder: hsp files.

\content\map folder: fpa, hnr, ftr, fda, fbl files.

    \content\phoneme: phr, ph files.

    \content\poi folder: poi files.

\content\speedcam folder: txt, spud, spdb files.

\content\userdata\poi folder: kml files (custom poi)

\content\(voice, lang, skin) folders: zip files

Glad it all worked out for you eventually. My personal favourite is iGo Primo though. Friendlier user interface, I think.

Re: Windows CE. What SatNav software can I use on it?

Hi. Sorry to barge into the thread but I need some help.

I have a caska unit in the car running on WinCE and the navigation software is mapmyindia v6.1.
The files are on a SD card.
I wanted to know how I can copy those files onto another SD card with higher memory and also run it on my system?
(Because right now after I copy and run it from another card, I get a splash screen and then it goes away.)

The MapMyIndia software that comes with the SD card is coded with IMEI of that SD card, so it will not work on other SD cards. If only it works like that, then one can buy it and share among a group of people right?
