Hello everyone. Got this navigation - Targa PNA-M4320t, windows core 5
When I power it up, it goes through blue screen till rotating compass and stucks there. What can it be? What can I try to boot it through?
SW version showed on boot 1.16
I have 4330T and once I had the same problem, hopefully it is easy to solve.
Provided you made a backup of your system, just connect your PNA to computer, get terrified how scrambled your internal storage files are, format the scrambled internal storage, and copy the backup back on. It should work fine.
If not, try to locate the CD you got with your PNA, and go through menus there. It should be able to fix your system. In case you lost your CD, well, things start to become more interesting.
For some reason, occasionally, when a program crashes it affects the file system as well. You can observe it as a bunch of strangely scrambled filenames, and there is not much you can do about. Clearing the internal storage and copying the backup of a system turns it back to normal.
If everything else fails you may always put MioPocket mini on into a Traveller folder, and put some other programs on.
In case you are forced to copy system from someone else, you'll find that you are unable to register the maps with Sygic. And if you try to apply some of the keygens they will also fail. It is because of the targa custom "drivers" that do just two things: check your maps license, and provide you with a serial when maps checkup fails. If you replace the "drivers" with generic ones a magic happens: you are provided with a serial that actually works with keygens, and you are able to put new maps on. So far it is the only way to get your targa's maps updated.
Thx for answering. Tell me please, do you have cd? Because i cant find it. Probalby in garbage with box...
You gave me few ideas DavorLister.
Can you or any other kind person try to upload cd somewhere and send me link?
Probably, files from cd can fix this situation.
Contact me on pm or somehow if you need any more information.
And thanks to anyone willing to help me.
Don't worry, we'll fix it. To be safe and to rule out the possibility your PNA is a brick, just plug it to USB of your computer and see if it reaches the USB connection context. It is supposed to be hard coded into a ROM of your device, so if it can connect to your USB it is most probably not a brick. Once your device's internal drive is mounted try to salvage whatever is readable, however, don't expect to see much - it is most probably completely scrambled.
Try to observe this as an opportunity to upgrade your device, or at least to get new Sygic maps on.
And yes, I have a disk, and i believe it is supposed to be OK for your device as well, but the maps on it are ancient and there is a way to fix it.

We'll fix this through pp, however, you may obtain your directory structure using "dir > dir.txt" command in cmd window, and share it here. It creates a file dir.txt where the output of the "dir" command is stored. Sometimes this small DOS trick comes handy
Well, unfortunately, it is not Sygic and my disk can not help you. It will be possible to put on some navigation software into the folder MobileNavigator, and rename the exe accordingly to ensure booting. How about mireo?
