Strada CN-NVD905U UPDATE MAP DISC CA-MAHD08U

Like the title says Looking for a map update for my CN-NVD905U. It cost 300 bucks for a CA-MAHD08U. Just for a map update. It runs a navteq map. Tried going to Navteq to get a updated map. But they say i have to go to panasonic. I think the unit is not being made any more. IF someone can help please help.

I would chip in for it. Even though it's only a 2008 map update. Let me know when you get it.

from what I've found the update is listed for $300 on their website but people have acquired it for $150 over the phone (apparently they don't sell it to the general consumers but a few have managed to talk them out of it)... whatever you guys do keep me looped in

I Also have been looking for the update and contacted them the update is only a 2008 Ver. not worth the money to me not even at 150.00

I would have posted a new thread but I'm new here and not yet sure how to do that. I'm looking for the setup and/or install disc for the Panasonic Strada CN-NVD905U. I bought a car that has the unit but had no disc and Panasonic says they don't make it anymore nor do they have any.

Do any of the tech guy's on the forum have any suggestions as to how us Panasonic users (CN-NVD905U), can update our maps for this unit. Panasonic customer care is useless on this subject as they have discontinued the unit. I even contacted Navteq in regards to updates but they just told me to call Panasonic, so back to square one, but there has to be some way it can be updated. Please help anyone? Thanks for any info.
