If it is a proper copy, the dvd is accepted in seconds
If not you completely failed to burn anything near a dvd

Hi all.
I think I was able to create a good copy because the Saab DVD is loaded without any errors. But, in the "middle" of navigation, on the screen appears more or less this error: incorrect data format disc.....please insert an sdal navigation disc..... .I've noticed that this error comes up only in some points on the map.
Can someone help me to solve this problem? Is a firmware issue?

It just means that you have burnt a far from proper copy

It is legible in most parts but not in all
That is why the warning comes up

Thank you so much Gazo. According to your experience what is the perfect combination (burner+DVD+burning software) for a perfect copy? I thrashed more or less 20 DVDs of different brands and used 5 burners. The best results I had is (Pioneer 111d+Verbatim DVD+R DL + Imgburn/Nero).
Someone told me to buy DVD-R DL . what do you think about it?

Hi Gazo, I bought the lg gh22ns40(according to the recommended writers list) but the result is even worse then the pioneer 111d(with the pioneer the map is always loaded, with the LG the nav can't even read the disc). Is there any suggested settings on Imgburn? I tried to copy with and without OPC.

try to change the media , but the 111d pioneer is one of the best burners!!

Hi Gazo, I bought the lg gh22ns40(according to the recommended writers list)

I would like you to take a look at the name plate or the specification in Imgburn if you really have obtained a GH22NS40 and not a NS50 writer!
The NS40 was taken of the market 6 months ago and I would be very surprised if one would still be around
The NS50 is indeed a crap writer!
