I don't believe this.
The just released for mercedes maps are 2nd quarter 2010.
In Holland they released an update for the peugeot 508 benelux also 2nd quarter 2010.
This is a different system but also navteq maps.

If it's true the maps will be released at the end of 2011 or the begin 2012.

The recently released VDODayton editions (May 2011) already have a database of Q4-2010. These are presently the most recent in the market
If it is necessary you can even obtain a license for the use of Q2-2011 data. It all depends on what you are prepared to pay for the license

As has always been the case with PSA, the just don't want to pay the full license fees and opt for a much older database use
Mind you that the license fees may be 80% less for "older" data. Even BMW has decided to use older databases for its discs

The newest cars of the PSA group are still sold with 2010-2011 maps. So there are no 2011-2012 maps at this moment.
