No need activation for MM devices only for HB (RNEG).
There is no protection on maps, softwares and Speedcams for RT3, RT4, RT5, RT6.
And I don't understand your last sentence (maybe I'm missing something)

Okay, bad newsRT6 definitely need an activation key.
