Recent Polnav Maps

Just found in a local GPS pna provider, using Polnav program ,info about release of new map Q1.2010 Navteq.-Anyone know where can download new map releases ?

Contacted Crypto - non-responsive about where to get maps.

Noticed that they have pluginpoiconverter.exe; maybe someone can get their hands on that and share with us?

EDIT: Crypto DID respond, but advised that their maps were a demo version only, not upgradeable by them (this is a common response). I've asked for a copy of pluginpoiconverter.exe and I'll advise if it's received.

Been looking and asking around - nothing newer. Polstar is an unreliable map updater except for Taiwan.

so i have replyed back tell them that i have purchased a gps unit that it has their maps into the unit,so they need to update their maps or stop give maps to whom whatever makes the units,if they dont update,whats the point of a map if they dont have updates for it!

Same reply many before you have received from Polstar. At one time, they did offer more recent maps to those who asked (I for one) but they are now falling back on the standard reply you received.

My advice? Move on to Primo or IGO or Destinator 8 (not 9).

The UK map contained in the folder referered to in the first post has more recent (2009.Q2) maps of:-

Ireland
Channel Islands
Isle of man
England
Northern Ireland
Scotland
Wales
