Has anyone had the following message come up when inserting CD 3 "Do You Want To Update Firmware" "Yes" or "No"?
If I answer "No" the CD is ejected, I don't want to answer "Yes" just in case the firmware is not on the CD, and also I don't want to brick the unit.
Vehicle is a Boxster 2004 with PCM2.0, no amp, a 6 CD changer. Read out from the Main+Trip pressed together is as follows:
35012292 Serial Number
Bit confused as the firmware from above does state it is 3.0, so why does it need to update the firmware?
Hi all, find below links to download the missing CDs:
CD4: Free File Hosting, Online Storage & File Upload with FileServe
CD5: Free File Hosting, Online Storage & File Upload with FileServe
CD6: Free File Hosting, Online Storage & File Upload with FileServe
CD7: Free File Hosting, Online Storage & File Upload with FileServe
CD8: Free File Hosting, Online Storage & File Upload with FileServe
The files are in toast format. To burn them, you will need Toast on a Mac or Nero on a PC. Enjoy.
Rapidshare links for all CD's have been added to Post # 1

Many thanks for the info, worked a treat.
I burnt the CD for a friend of mine and i inserted it. it immediatelly asked if i want to load the new maps and i pressed yes, but it then asked to insert the navigation CD... no matter.. i'm confused..
I burned a Philips CD at lowest possible speed using imgburn
I am a little confused. When I insert CD1 that I burnt I don't get to upload the new maps. I simply burnt all the files from rapidshare to the cd without unpacking them.
And you call that "a little confused"?

Well, I wouldn't be that pessimistic. I just havent't used a filesharing system yet.
Thanks a lot for your spontaneous reply, anyway.
I have downloaded and extracted the ISO files - do I then extract further or burn one of the ISO files (as ISO does not let me add the others) and then add the others or do I do five different CD's for CD 3 (I just want UK). Can't find what to do after downloading even after searching (sorry for silly question) just a link to how to proceed would be very welcome.
Thanks SnoopJohn got it working now and it is perfect. For new people to this like myself just download the rar files and then uncompress using WinRar or if on a Mac the easier to use UnRarX as these programs know that the files are linked and will created just the one ISO file. Then burn the image (iso file) to CD using Norton or if on a Mac the easier to use Mac Disk Utility. Thanks again.
