Latest Map update for PCM 2.0 PCM 3.0

I have one more Navi porsche pcm 3, I want to update the maps, whether I understand correctly that this CD is suitable for the new Porsche DVD multimedia pcm 3?
written on the CD, you press the MAIN + TRIP, the MAIN key is not on these systems!
it s not understood Please advise me where I can get, and what do I need a CD or DVD update maps and how do I do??

Hi,
Would I be able to take any one of these CD's and remove one of the current maps and add in another map; ie. take CD number 3 remove Luxemborg, and Denmark, and add in Southern Africa?
I have maps for Southern Africa for the TOM TOM and GARMIN system, would this be able to be done? or could I take the base loader file and add in the SA map and create a CD of my own?
Also the files on the Image CD, have .DB extensions, I would have to convert the maps I have to a .DB extension, is this possible?

Does this mean that the base loader file contains references to the existing maps?, if yes, this means that I can get hold of a base loader file, edit it for it to reference the SA Map, this should work, problem is I need the correct software to edit the .db files, and then convert the existing Map to a .db format and then burn the image..

Downloaded, unzipped and mounted ISO disc image no problem. Burnt to a DVD ROM but my '08 Boxster won't recognise the disc.
Should I burn to DVD or CD ROM?
What should the name of the disc be please? My older disc is labelled PCM_2_1_NavDVD.

These files are CD's for PCM hardware version 2.0, with Firmware version 3.0
Unsure if you have PCM2.1 or 3.0 hardware version
I think if it's the DVD navigation without touchscreen, it's PCM 2.1, if it's the touchscreen nav, it's the PCM 3.0

So you need to get the disks relevant for your system
