I made some tests.
I modified the data of my device, for beginning I put february.2013. The answer of Sygic was "Your license is expired"
I set december 2012 and Sygic worked again in demo mode. In my opinion, the software will work after 31.01.2013 if you set up the data of your device earlier.

You have to set up the system data before to start Sygic.
You most be careful to do this without gps signal if you have gps signal the system data will be actualized and no works anyway. The Sygic will check the system data only at start-up, after this verification it will be work in demo mode. I already tested this method yesterday.
