    Hello Simon,

    I think you just have to be patient for a few days, once all tutorials and guides are back online it all will be clear to you.
    The guides will also tell you which device information you should provide so people will be able to help you.

    Just wait for a few days and I'm sure members of this site can help you out.

    best regards T_L

    Some of the members who have joined are TomTom experts. When the forum opens fully tomorrow, they will post the steps. So just be patient.

    Her is HowTo for PDA (Used on HD2):
    First run TomTom 7.917.9186.cab (or the version you use) and install program on PDA device, then from you PC open PDA with explorer and locate ttnavigator.bif (Application\Programfiles\Navigator). Open file in notpad and copy DeviceUniqueID=(all this letters) to be used in no.3 below.

    Use keygen named "EasyUseTools" as include Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher.
    1. Copy Western_and_Central_Europe.meta & Western_and_Central_Europe.pna to folder "insert_meta_from_Map_here"
    2. Copy Meta.txt to folder "Progs"
    3. Copy your DeviceID and past into DeviceID.txt
    4. Run RunMeforDTC.cmd and chose 1 enter and 1 enter and your done. If you see your deviceID, then it's sucsess...
    5. Copy Western_and_Central_Europe.meta & Western_and_Central_Europe.pna & Western_and_Central_Europe.dtc to folder Western_and_Central_Europe_845_2647 and put it on root of your SSD card
    6. Copy voyces to root of your SSD card
    7. TomTom will detect map when starting TT device

    (speedcam as shall be activated exsactly the same way as map, and copyed to map folder on SSD card)

    Hope this helps

    What do you mean ? for portable car ?? 2645 is a fully featured map and intended for tomtom units , if you are using a non-TomTom device i suggest you download a map without ALG ect. google for a comparison chart

    To get help you will need to supply details from your ttgo.bif file here then you might get help.

    Re: tom tom western europe maps

    I meant a portable tomtom for my car. I have the xl 340s tomtom. I just download the map North_America_845_2645 and I don't know what to do next, but I think I need a keygen.

    Here are some of the ttgo.bif file:
    DeviceName=TomTom XL IQ Routes Edition
    DeviceVersionHW=XL IQ Routes Edition
    RamDiskVersion=20090818
    BootLoaderVersion=55136
    LinuxVersion=344750
    ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8415
    ApplicationVersion=1240
    CurrentMap=USA_Canada_and_Mexico_P
    CurrentMapVersion=835.2419

    Hope you can help me. Thank you.

    ok, think I got everything. Now I got a problem with the patch it says "non-genuie patch file". What does that mean? Do I need another map?

    Also, is xl iq 340s usb 1.0 or something the transfer speed is very slow.

    thank you
