ONE XL with speech street name

Hi,

I got the latest navcore "9.101" with US & canada map "825.2666" version. It is working well on ONE XL.
But Is it anyway i can have speech street name? Which map i need? or It will not work on ONE XL?

Got the 2645 map to support.
But it seems not working, do i need to download the computer voice? Where can i find it?

The cspeech files have nothing to do with text-to-speech. They are for voice recognition (so speech-to-text). But since the ONE XL has no microphone, you don't need those cspeech files. In order to have text-to-speech on your ONE XL however, you need the computervoices. I have tried navcore 9.101 on a XL model, TTS not working.
So I changed back to 8.xx navcore, and so cannot use 8.45.2702 map.

navcore 8412 is good for XL

If your XL is the older version with only 32mb ram you may find that using TTS makes your system very slow and maps freeze for a sec or two.

I have installed a few NC'S on 32mb units and have never really found the performance to be acceptable, The other bits and bobs ALG, IQ work fine.

There is many posts regarding using the Vocalizer voices rather then the full blown versions however you may find these a bit poor.
