Just for reference - those maps which incorporate GB, NL or SG, also have these files within the actual map directories, so you may well not need then in the zip directory, especially if you are using the GO version of maps. It may just be required on the lesser units and maps

    Re: Postcodes - 885 Maps

Hello, I'm new to this but don't know if I writing on the right thread.

I have got the latest UK + Ireland map 885-4010 on my ONE XL, it works very well but the problem is the postcode is limited. It only shows up the first 4 letters/numbers of the postcode and not the rest. I have tried to put this Postal files into the map folder but no changes on TT.

Any advices on getting the full postcode database?

    Cheers

Unzip/uncompress the downloaded file....now you have a folder named zip with 4 files inside.

Keep the files in the zip folder.

Put the zip folder in the root drive. ( with all the other files and folders )

    Not in the map folder.

    Now it should work correctly.
