I'm running TT 920 GO.

Was using Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB 880.3688 on navcore version 8.351 or very close to that. But I wanted to install the new maps 885. So I downloaded the Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB witch is by the description from links 885.4009. Tried running it on my old navcore (8.351) but couldn't use it after i used FastActivate on it so I removed all my old maps to update navcore via TomTomHome to latest. It gave me version 9.4 something, cant confirm now really because I don't believe it will work with old map and it doesn't work with new.

In short navcore:

8.351 + Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB 880.3688 = OK
9.4xx + Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB 885.4009 = Wrong Map
8.351 + Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB 885.4009 = Wrong Map

Am I reading the compatibility chart wrong or am I doing something wrong?

Will this "custom" navcore would be recommended for me?

Best NavCore for Go x10, Go x20 and Go x30

The Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB 885.4009 map should work with any one of those navcores, as the meta is available for that map. Download the latest version of FastActivate Premium from here and make sure you patch the navcore too! Click on all the buttons in FastActivate from left to right, waiting for each to finish.

After activating the map, confirm if a new .dct file was created. If there is no .dct file in the map folder, then the map hasn't been activated.

The 9.051 navcore by bmwdriver is recommended for your device and should work very well.

1) Italian map 855.4055 has no cspeech.
2) Hong Kong map 885.4022 has no cspeech (probably has NO features at all). Same for Malaysia_Singapore and Thailand.
3) Middle_East map 855.4088 has no cspeech and seems no features at all.
4) 855.4020 maps chart is missing. Surely have HNR and no Cspeech.
5) Maps 855.4030 are missing in the chart. Surely have Cspeech and NO HNR. Hong_Kong map.
6) Maps 855.4031 are missing in the chart. Surely have Cspeech and HNR. Hong_Kong map.
7) Maps 855.4097 have NO Cspeech but have HNR

Chart needs correction.

Hi ingazu

I was looking at the compatibility chart and I got a doubt. I am running map 885.4021 Brazil with my GO730 navcore 9400 and the ALG and IQ Routes function. In the compatibility chart appears that would not be available for this release
