    You need to activate it using a key generator have a look in tools section. I use keygen 2010 4.1D patch your navcore and maps ignore truck errors then check your map folder to make sure you have a meta.dct file. let us know any problems.

    Re: [moved] Newbie need help with map update for tomtom go 720

    Ok this what i been doing,extracted navcore 8.562 to my tomtom as someone suggested for this model.
    Then i tried to run the RunMeforDCT in easytools folder to get the 2 meta.dct files and i get the msg >>>>Basic Explanation:

    OK = All good and copy now .dct into the Mapfolder.

    Wrong DeviceID symbols = Devicecode wrong written

    There is no such map in keyfile Meta.txt = Your Map is until now not supported

    Cant find file = no *.meta file inside Folder "insert_meta_from_Map_here"

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ### Run Keygen ###
    PNA Device ID detected
    Nothing to do...
    ^^^^^^^^Keygen Output only here!^^^^^^^^^^
    Keygen says Map not supported
    and Chillycat,thanks for the Ydg patch link, but when i run that i get the message Error-np01 Unable to complete operation. Reasons: invalid <filename>or already patched.
    iam so lost now as dont know where to find my mistake.
    most simple software for patching navcores, maps etc i find is alberts easy activator:
    just click the patch navcore option, select ttsystem file on your tomtom and it will patch it for you.(can take a while sometimes, dont worry it hasnt crashed) You could also do with patching the tomtom home dll file
