New maps v.890 - discussion

I have just tried UK 890.4222 on my 730 running 9004.1804 and it says "map not found" it works fine with 885 maps

I tried Italy_8.90_4222 and the Italy map is not listed in the "Change map" menu...

... curious because "Compatibility chart" says Ok for a 8.302 navcore !!!

perhaps because i'm in France ??? Con you confirm this idea ?

Version 890.4222 must be used with Navcore 9.02 or bigger, thats why is not seen on 8.302 and 9.004

I think the compatibility tablet must be updated.

at least, best way for me... to take 8.90.4224 with Cspeech and ASR (no IQ)

I can confirm my GO-730 with 9.430 system works perfect with 8.90_4222 maps

No problem with patching whatsoever.

Just installed the genuine TT 9.430 and patched it, now the UK 890.4222 map works OK but I have lost some utilities.
Edit: Just tried SE 9051 and that worked OK with UK 890 and got back all but one of the utilities, so I will stick with this until something else comes along

Yes... we loose some utilities and sometimes too low voice sound also with 9.43 navcore

Having trouble with ASR, with 9004 running in x40 mode I had complete voice command, but with 9430 I cannot configure + sound too low. I am trying 9051 and this is working ASR fine except my startup and shutdown .ogg files will not play

With my navcore updated to 9.43 i cant get the 890.4222 map to work on my GO630 any suggestions? it just not recognize it.....
