New maps v.890 - discussion

With my navcore updated to 9.43 i cant get the 890.4222 map to work on my GO630 any suggestions? it just not recognize it.....

you must patch the ttsystem file in the root

No it isn't, it is United States 2GB just as the title says it is

This map is just a cut down version of the US for smaller memory cards. Ideal if you have a TomTom One with SD card and a 2GB card.

What mean 2 meta codes for Truck 890.4266

one is at the end .meta another one .tmeta (tmeta - like truck meta ? Or ?) , i noticed inside map folder Europe truck 890.2666 2 files

Europe_TRUCK-564.meta and Europe_TRUCK-564.tmeta, same like 2 codes, 2 files, but what is function of .tmeta file, cause when i generated unlock .dct file, for this map folder, inside was just Europe_TRUCK-564.meta.dct created, and no Europe_TRUCK-564.tmeta.dct ?

When i tried to use these maps on TT navcore 8.398 V9 Kernel on TT GO 750, cause TT GO 750 request V9 kernel, can't run 8.398 truck navcore with v8 kernel, at starting was message "no truck maps deceted, will continue to use maps like for a car maps" !?

Is reason for this message not created tmeta.dct file for Europe truck maps or whatever !?

When i tried in META.TXT file to leave just

52 83 A9 2E 78 A1 EA DC 09 2E 3D 98 B2 C4 A2 92 Europe_TRUCK-564.tmeta

on keygenerator (easy activator) was message no maps for Europe_TRUCK-564.meta, but not .tmeta ?

If somebody has activated TT TRUCK EUROPE MAP 890.4266. please post your expirience with activating ?

Use fastactivate premium to create meta.dct & tmeta.dct to use truck attributes.

Fastactivate works on same base, like a easy activator, both of them use tt8_keygen.exe and patchYDG.exe (tool made by YDF), just different interface, and in EA user need to load meta.txt, but in FA is just integrated , FA will not do anything new !

Unpack Factactivate.exe and you'll se inside these tools i wrote, same are inside easy activator , FA just update their "tool" with new meta.txt ...

For now i didn't see on NT new FA premium tool with 890.xxxx meta codes ! ?

If anyone has some another suggestion or expirience, please post it ...

if Ok, this will solve the incompatibility problem with navcore 8.3xx (keeping TTS/ASR/ALQ)

Yes, you can use it, will have no truck features but will have the "normal" map on Device
