    Hnr?

What means if the map (like 850.2781) does not support feature HNR?

I did installed this map on my Carminat (navcore 8.841) and I could choose exact location (city, street and house number)

So what means that HNR is not supported in this map? What is HNR

HSN stands for 'House Numbering'. I thought it was some more extensive version of the normal house number database.

It stands for "house numbering" as written here in the first chart :

I think it is an acronym only used in the Tomtom underground community, no ?

Don't worry I have read that chart like a million times. But I still don't know what is realy "HNR" feature.

Map 850.24 have HNR feature and other maps don't have HNR feature.

So what is "HNR" and how is that shown on map?! What is the difference betwen map 850.24 and map 850.2781 (it looks like only HNR feature, but what it is this)?

    Translated from french forums :
    - you will have a housenrs.dat file
    - only for Russia and Greece

    Hypothesis :
    - more house numbers are stored into the map, not only the ones at crossings ... ?
    - to show the numbers on the screen ... ?

Both my 845.2702 and 850.2802 maps have the "housenrs.dat" file. The only difference that I can think of is that when you browse your map and you point at a specific location, it shows you the name of the street and the numbers on both sides of that street. On 845.2647 map there is no such feature.
    Hope I helped.
