Just wondering since all the US maps I've seen with those features are larger than 1GB so they wont work on a TomTom One XL (1GB flash).
On that note, are there any IQ+ALG maps greater than 1GB that can be stripped down? I know the USA maps are bundled w/Canada or Mexico and map features like cspeech and ASR are pointless since the XL doesn't have a mic, so I'm wondering if there is enough room that could be freed to make it fit...
There is no such Maps within 1GB format.
All Maps with IQ + ALG are 2GB format. I use 2GB SD Card.
A few things you need to know if you want to make it work:
1. Format SD Card - FAT 32.
2. I use SE Navcore v8.562, v8.417 also works fine.
3. Map v845 with IQ & ALG.
4. Run in x40light or x40 mode with folder \outsourced.xxxx present for memory saving.
I've done it on my 2009 ONE XL-S and it works perfectely without a single bug.
I've found ALG - as a very useful tool and especially when you live in the big city.
