Question Convert Garmin favorites to a TomTom??

    Hello Gents

I have a lot of nice favorites on my old Garmin Nüvi350, wich I would like very much to transfer to my new TomTom Go630. Anybody have a solution on how to do this ??

    Maybe a conversion program??

    Thanks in advance

I don't think that POI Edit is a great tool for that purpose, But instead I found a neat little program called POIConverter wich works perfectly and is simple.

    What I did was following:

I opened my old Favorites file from my Nüvi "Current.GPX" with POIConverter, and saved as TOMTOM .OV2 file.

Copied the new .OV2 POIfile into mapfolder of my TOMTOM Go630, and then went into menu and saved POI's as favorites on TomTom :-) Don't know if there is a more clever way to do it, but hey, this is easy and it works.

Keep up this great site guys.........
