    i have a tomtom one v3

map something like west and central europe 8.35xxxx
    map is working fine
BUT: when i touch the display to set my route, tomtom freezes and restarts

    HELLO
Did you updated your TT via TT HOME or you are using an SE Navcore 8560?
Try and patch the map with "Fast activator" that you can downloaded from this site.
Check also the TUTORIAL section for further instruction.

remove mapsettings.cfg and it should boot again.
This means that previously stored settings are lost. There is a way to convert this cfg file, if you do a google search.
