    Maps to large

I have downloaded the North_America_850_2781 maps to place on my TomTom GO 720 and am trying to use Alberts Easy Activator. The first step is to copy the new map to the root of my tomtom. The problem is there is not enough room. I have deleted the folder for the old map and still do not have enough room to copy the new maps over to the tomtom.

    Any advice?

    TIA!

Thanks yuriyggg - I was unaware that size would be an issue since a chart I looked at said this map would work on my model. If I remove the cspeech files, I would not have any voice instructions, correct? I don't understand what you mean by "Council of third-Use CD- 4GB".

The only files I am to replace on my TT is the map folder, correct? All other files/folders remain intact?

Perhaps I am not following the instructions correctly... Should I set everything up on my pc harddrive and then copy over to my tomtom?

There is not an SD card slot that I am aware of.

I was able to empty the cspeech files and get the map installed. Also, there is a slot on the bottom. It was covered with a sticker. Thanks so much for your help!
