reboot question for my go 710

hey guys i have a go 710. anyway if i load the navcore (lazy edition) any 8 or 9 version, i find that if put the tomtom back on the "docking station/usb connection device" it will just "freeze" up and after 2 minutes reboot, connecting to the pc.
however if i use the official go 710 7.9xx navcore (plus patching ofcourse) i dont have this issue and i get the normal question whether i want to connect it to the pc.
but yeah with the other navcores, it just freezes.

is this normal? is there something i need to change to make it not freeze?

sorry forgot to mention. its a aussie go 710 with patched 7.9xx navcore with i think veriosn 4.6 or 4.8 boot loader.

will changing the bootloader stop the rebooting issue?

Re: reboot question for my go 710

I have a TT Go 710 and installed Navcore 8.417. Using the patch software and the instruction that was in that Navcore - package I downloaded from a torrent-tracker ages ago.
Works perfect as I just described in another Thread here.

I don´t have that Navcore package I used on my PC anymore, unfortunately - so I cannot upload it. But as I said it needed a patch which you had to install first.

Maybe the newer Navcores are better / faster for the Go710 ? I don´t know, I never tried as I never saw the need for doing it.

    HI
After installing navcore 8 or 9 on your SD card did you try a SOFT RESET.
And also if you installing a new map you need to patch it.
