Re: tomtom Navigator on Windows Mobile

    Ok

so ive downloaded and installed the new tomtom Windows Mobile software (navcore 7.917) but when trying to reactive my maps im getting a problem

Im using a program called 'Alberts Easy Activator for TomTom' and all goes weill until i get to create the new meta file i either get the error message saying that its 'already patched or a SE version' or the message i get 99% of the time is 'cant open meta.txt - The file is in use or not present'

the version map im trying to activate is 'United Kingdom & Ireland: v720.1802' is this to old to activate anymore?

Im downloading a newer version of UK and Ireland at the moment so im hoping that will fix the issue

    anyone know of a fix?

    thanks

Make sure You use the latest meta, you need to point Easyactivator to meta location as well.

Re: tomtom Navigator on Windows Mobile

I always use EasyUseTools to activate Western_and_Central_Europe map and if you follow below it will work...
First run TomTom 7.917.9186.cab and install program on PDA device, then from you PC open PDA with explorer and locate ttnavigator.bif (Application\Programfiles\Navigator). Open file in notpad and copy DeviceUniqueID=(all this letters) to be used in no.3 below.

Use keygen named "EasyUseTools" as include Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsystempatcher.
    1. Copy Western_and_Central_Europe.meta & Western_and_Central_Europe.pna to folder "insert_meta_from_Map_here"
    2. Copy Meta.txt to folder "Progs"
    3. Copy your DeviceID and past into DeviceID.txt
    4. Run RunMeforDTC.cmd and chose 1 enter and 1 enter and your done. If you see your deviceID, then it's sucsess...
    5. Copy Western_and_Central_Europe.meta & Western_and_Central_Europe.pna & Western_and_Central_Europe.dtc to folder Western_and_Central_Europe_845_2647 and put it on root of your SSD card
    6. Copy voyces to root of your SSD card
    7. TomTom will detect map when starting TT device

Speedcam shall be activated exsactly the same way as map, and copyed to map folder on SSD card

Re: tomtom Navigator on Windows Mobile

Ok so ive been doin more tinkering and ive got an different message now

ive got 'United Kingdom and republic of ireland-14.meta - ok tt7_keygen.exe created 1 x *dct files(s)'

i click ok then copy the entire map to 'N:\My Documents' (N is my SD card) as that where my free city map is so im guessing thats the correct map location, and the map is still not activating

Am i missing a step here?

    thanks in advance

EDIT: just tried again and its still not working

just to check the location where i should be placing my maps is N:\My Documents\United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_v 720.1802 (N being my SD card)
