    Tom Tom truck map

I have successfully put Tom Tom europe truck map onto a memory card but when I put it into my Go 720 it says that the map doesn't contain truck attributes. Any ideas as to how I can get it to work?

If TomTopm say: 'no truck attributes' - it's mean - he has proper truck softwage but maybe do not have tmeta.dct file.
Question: what s/w and map wersion do you have?
    regards

    Re: Tom Tom truck map

I have the 8.396 navcore and the map version is europe truck 845.2649. The tomtom system is patched with alberts easy activator or the se version. This system is working on another lorry drivers 720 and i used his downloaded meta txt but have obviously overlooked something or need a different meta txt. Also alberts easy activator only produces one meta dct file. I've also copied the lads meta txt file and tried putting that in the map but it still wont use lorry routing.

    Re: Tom Tom truck map

Is it so hard to get TomTom truck to work on a Go 930T - no

I have decided to use an SD card - so I do not need to change anything in my 930T

    Windows 7 64 bit

    4GB SDHC memory card

    Downloaded the following

    Navcore 8395 (1913) _Work-Truck_x10_XL
    Truck Map 845
    ENG_FastActivate_21.09.2010_Premium_edition_v1.6

    1. connect the 930T to your computer and take a safety copy via TomTom Home

    2. My TomTom is connected to my computer via the drive G: Go to the G drive - find ttgo file and copy it to a folder on your desk - will use it later

    3. copies the contents of Navcore 8395 (1913) to your 4GB card

    4. copy the folder Europe_TRUCK_845 to your 4GB card

    5. ttgo.bif copies the file to your 4GB card

    6. open ENG_FastActivate and copies FastActivate to your 4GB card

    7. Find FastActivate on your 4GB card and double click so the program starts up - press Update meta.txt - then press maps / Voice / Speedcams -

Now the card is ready to use !!

    Re: Tom Tom truck map

had same problem myself but got mine to work with easytools so if you open your map then open easytools goto insert meta from map here
then copy and paste these files
    cline dat.
    cname dat
    cnode.dat
    europe truck meta.
    europe truck meta dct.
    europe truck tmeta 35kb
    europe truck tmeta 1kb
    europe truck pna.
    mapinfo dat
so run easytools use option one for the first 2 ie run meta for all/runmefordct then on the third option use option 2 ie enter 1 for standard choice the use option two hope this helps

    Re: Tom Tom truck map

I find it easier to use the latest version of "AutoActivate". Used it numerous times and worked a treat - no problems!!!!
