    "Faulty" GO730

    Hi!

    I have in my possesion a GO730 where my uncle has tried to exchange the battery, however, when doing so he has destroyed the "display unit flex cable".
    Is there any way this can be fixed? (apart from buying a new screen which is more expensive than just buying a whole new unit...)
    Hoping for some smart dude in here to rescue me, or set me straight with no hope...

    Was the cable pulled loose from the main body but is still attached to the screen? If so you might be able to reconnect it. Check out the .pdf file at the following link:

    Hi!

    The cable has broken, the last half inch or so have simply snapped off...

    The cable has snapped in 2, the last half inch or so has broken from the rest of the cable...
