    [solved] Tom Tom truck help

Hi all. I'm new to all this so please bear with me, am I right in thinking that you can install tom tom truck on to an SD card which I would prefer, or does it have to be installed direct to my tom tom unit which is a one XL?
If this is possible, any help and advice would be appriated.

You need to have +2GB disk capacity to full install. So leave internal memory "as is" and install truck navcore 8.395 and map 840.2554 to a SD. TT will read SD when inserted.

    Map http://gpsunderground.com/forum/show...0.2554-1.96-GB)
    Navcore http://gpsunderground.com/forum/show...k-Truck-x10-XL
Just follow the steps from here http://gpsunderground.com/forum/show...vcore-and-maps
PS. You need to create 2 .dct files so use Easyusetools or Tomtom Keygen from here http://gpsunderground.com/forum/foru...ols-amp-Tweaks

Hi all, I am new to GPSUnderground and I have so far found it very informative.

    My question is:

I have just ordered the TT GO950 and should be with me in a few days, will the above instructions work for it to convert into a TT Truck, maybe apart from a different navcore?

Many thanks fir the great site and any answers given.

Truck set is truck navcore + truck map, no other option will work properly ... I'm afraid TTGOx50 series have no good opinion in case of truck conversion, they work but with some bugs ...

Do you know what the bugs are, I have only seen that the live services don't work.

    Re: Tom Tom truck help

You need to use a special edition ttsystem file and after install the Navcore tt will reboot once - that is normal and can take up to 4 minutes so be patient and don't turn it off. If the Navcore works on your device you will notice that no Live serves will work (due to the different GPRS module) and that you have to turn the device off using the menu function for it or by holding the power button for 10 sec. On some devices you have to press the reset button before you can turn them on again.
