I've seen all of the diagrams that shows Navcore & map compatibility, but i am unsure if the later the release number of the map means that a map is newer.
Can someone please confirm that 885.4097 is later (newer) than 885.4009 - if not is there a post that states when maps were released.
In one of the Navcore posts someone says that the Navcore version has little significance to its age.
The last 4 digits only indicate the features of the map. The higher digits here do NOT mean newer in this case. They are just random numbers chosen by TomTom to separate each map from the other. The features are shown in the compatibility chart on the left hand columns. The ticks indicate which features are present in each map.
