First time i was trying to pair my cellphone - HTC Dezire Z - tomtom had been frozen, then was rebooting in a loop. I send it to repair, and they gave me new one.
They have written that i should update to the latest navcore, and everything should work perfectly. So i've update navcore (now I don't remember from to which version - an update was aviable) than i've tried once again to pair my phone - the same - device in restart loop. So I send tomtom once again to Holland, they have only reinstall navcore and give it back with note "please apply the latest updates". When i'm trying to do this i get error message in myTomTom- "something failed during update, please contact tech support" When I open web browser and click new item i can see newer navcore but i can't update - i always get the error message.
I talk with tech support. They asked me for reinstall myTomTom (also remove all temp files), try another usb port, another computer, factory reset & "drum reset" etc. Nothing has helped
At the diagnostic screen (hold the power on until you get the diagnostic screen) press the switch on button 3 times quickly (like 0.5 seconds between each press; not long, just tap it). This supposed to revert to factory default as you bought it.
