TT Go 630 can't activate maps from sd card.

Will find ttgo.bif file on root of your device storage, if you have not enable the file extention will find it as "ttgo"
Copy this file on SD and run Fast.

Thanks for the help and I did find the "ttgo" file but I believe I am still missing something as the GPS can not see the map on the SD card. I jumped into this project in the middle and it seems I lack the basic knowledge to move forward which explains my frustration. I have the GO630 with the following info.....

64 mb Ram (14.7 mb free)
GPS v1.20, Boot 5.5120

1) Your map is way too old. Current maps are v900. The latest map is North_America_900_4602:

2) Do NOT limit yourself to a 2GB card, especially since you are after the full Europe map which is over 2GB. Get yourself an 8GB SD card and install multiple maps if you wish.
To update (or add) a map, follow the 7 simple steps guide:

7 simple steps to update your device with the latest map

You can do a clean install, but probably not necessary with your setup. More information in the Tutorials section.

Ok I finally was able to spend some time and I downloaded both the Europe map and the North American 900 4602 map. I have WinRar and this has got to be the silliest question I have asked but WinRar is asking for a password to extract the file and I have not idea where to look for it. Any help please.............

The password is listed where you downloaded it from. Go to the uploader's post and you will see the password there.

Do these maps also work with my durabase nav-pnf 43t?
It uses A-rival.

Or can anybody point me to a place where i can get information on where to get maps for that device?

This is so frustrating...... I see the password and when unzipping with WinRar it asks for it but will not uncompress. I get the following message "corupt or wrong password" I have downloaded the file three times now with no luck. anyone has a suggestion? Thanks

The only password I can see in the above map threads is watermark
Maybe turn off CAPS.
Or copy paste the password.
