problems with tom tom oneXL

I have been given a oneXL to put a western europe map on a SD card for a friend have installed a navecore and 1gb W U map on the card and all works ok, the problem is when I turn the device off & a short time later try to swicth on again it wont start I have to take the SD card out & boot from flash it then boots up ok this happens with internal flash or SD (hope this makes sense)

A hard reset usually fixes this issue:

If your device has a reset button, insert a paperclip and hold it for 20 seconds.
If there is no reset button, hold the power button down for 20 seconds.

If the above doesn't fix it, you may need to backup all files, format your SD card and then reinstall the files.

Ok problem seems solved now as long as I do not remove the SD card & boot from flash, so I have used a 4gb sd card & put the united kingdom map (With my friends favorits & home on it) alongside the western europe one now all he has to do is use the switch maps function and the device boots every time.
