Thanks for the info I was looking for the meta everywhere but ccouldn't find it. Now I know why. ;-)
Use Western Europe 905.4797 as it has available meta. The map is virtually identical minus the advanced cspeech.
If you have your language in the voices folder, the map will be perfect and save you 200MB of space.
You may even be able to generate a DCT license for the 4754 using the 4797 meta if you modify the map accordingly.
Alternatively, try moving the cspeech files for 4754 to 4797 before you create your license.
There is a couple of answers to a 2GB limit if you take the time to add the right maps.
For me, UK map plus Central Europe is perfect as I can drive from the UK to the edge of Poland without no issues. The maps are fully detailed.
Central Europe covers all the countries I need and most of the western part is still in the map so it's only really Iberia missing. You will have 200MB left over if you choose this selection.
Alternatively, a great person from this forum asked me to Google "TT Truck NC 9.701 and map 910 for 2GB devices" (include the quotation marks)
This results in a project that provides you with a truck version of the whole of Europe that will fit in 1.8GB. And yes, there is meta on the page too.
POI's and close up vectors are missing but you can add them back and delete the truck component and still have enough room on your XXL for favourites and map corrections.
I ended up adding Europe_TRUCK v910.4958 to my XXL, adding the UK POI's from UK and IE v910.4892 and deleting the tmeta file and the truck.dat file.
What ever country you are in you can do the same for your country by adding it's features to the Europe Truck map leaving the rest of Europe more basic. It's an almost perfect scenario.
I tried with a couple of computer voices but in the end I dropped back to just one basic voice to save myself another 95MB. The computer voice does a worse job than I at pronouncing Polish road names :-)
Europe_TRUCK v910.4958 is really a version of Europe v910.4892 so you can share any 4892 or 4958 components between the maps (the data structure is the same).
The POI's for UK & IE are 21.6MB and are 196MB in Europe so it was better for me to save the space having local POI's only and not have every cash register and petrol station from lands end, UK to the eastern border of Russia.
