I'm about to make my first attempt to update my tomtom xxl classic.
Going by the compatibility chart the latest map update for it is: 935 5813 but i cant find that on here
The next one down is 935 5811 but i cant find the META for it.
Am i missing something or does it just not exist ?
Download the .5753 map. It's a better choice because it has ALG. ALG are the green flashing arrows.

Your original Navcore needs to be patched before you can use these map.I'm about to make my first attempt to update my tomtom xxl classic.
If you did this in the past already, it's OK, it's a one time job for the Navcore involved.

europe north, europe central or europe south 5753 meta code having. test it.
Its strange that they would take away ALG with the newer version map.
My TomTom has navcore version 9.510 and map version v885.4053 so not sure if I even have ALG with my current map?
I've looked at this thread:
And I can't see the mata 5753?
I'm still reading and double checking everything but I was going to follow this thread on updating the map:
7 simple steps to update your device with the latest map
And this thread to keep my favourites:
How to save & restore your favorites when updating your device
I think in the guide it says I can patch everything with fast activate?.
I've just noticed the pictures you posted and my current map does have ALG.
Have they removed ALG on all the maps after 5753 then (its a shame if they have)?

You can even use the full Europe map, if there's enough memory space available in your device.
They all are the latest set of maps (v935) and the last part of the code (5745, 5753, etc.) simply indicates the devices they are made for, or even the features they have. It doesn't mean they are older/newer than other v935 maps.

attention for number #88
That's correct. Meta data for Western Europe v935.5753 is not available yet.
84 E1 AA 2C 9C F1 1A 49 A6 46 F9 10 0D A1 10 F0 Europe_West-100104.meta ; Europe_West 935_5753
This meta file at least one week available, check the forum regulary, before answering wrong info, please!
Fastactive with latest update also has the meta.
You can always check your old map for having ALG.
If this option is greyed out in the Navcore you can't turn it on or off.
In my dutch version is called 'Toon rijstrookadvies'

TomTom on iPhone 4 Google Maps
I thought that the first part was to tell you what navcore it was compatible with and the second part was the build (the higher the number the newer the map).
So really the newest map that would come shipped with my tomtom should be V935.4053 ....lol
Is there any chart that shows what map should come shipped with my tomtom?
From what ive been reading It seems that if i use fastactivate to update my maps then its just a case of copyinh over the map file to my tomtom and then running fastactivate, as fast activate optains the META for me and patches my navcore?
So are you saying that fastactivate wont download the Western Europe 5753 META ?
