Angry Newbie please help, TT one 3rd edition(4N01.000) files keep corrupting

After a format and a memory flash (No memory card), each time I connect the nav to the computer it asks to run a scan for corrupt files.

When I connect it to tt home to install navcore 8010 it keeps failing to overwrite ttsytem and data.chk, after these files have been written to the tt it will not allow you to delete or rename them untill the tt has been rebooted and the scan run again.

I've tried to manually add these files, but they keep becoming corrupted.

I've also scanned the tt for viruses.

    Any ideas please?

    Flashed, then formatted.
Tried to copy navcore 9.101 but it copys some of the files over and not others, I keep getting error message, An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file.

Error 0x800703EE the volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid.

And again each time I connect the sat nav to the computer check disc asks to scan.

    Any ideas please?

    Psychotart

I have a one V3 and get the same as you.

I seem to have fixed it (sort of) by formatting as FAT (Not FAT32), connect to home and install new navcore from the update and maps as required. Reset TT , connect to pc and when it asks if you wish to check drive click on no.

Have not had problems since and if you wish to change to a later navcore it is easier to do
