    Tomtom Go 1000 Live

    Sorry but my english is not very well.

    I have a question about tomtom go 1000 live a bougt two monts ago.
    Tomtom is still developping new tomtom hoem for the new tomtoms. But my tomtom has only german voices, not enlgish or dutch. And yett I cannot instal new language. I though maybey i can instal it bymeself manual. You now connecting it with the copmuter and the device wil show in my computer list with all teh removeable devices.
    But that is not so, the device is not be showing in the computer list.

    I there any other option to show it in the removeable devices list.

    Will be waiting for the solution.

    Thanks in advance.

    No, there is not. We just have to wait for MyTT to be ready.

    2 things: 1.- on my device, every time I want to connect the tomtom to the computer, the device asks me "Do you want to connect to Computer?" and until you press yes, you don't connect it to the PC;

    and 2.-
    Have you tried to see if the Go1000Live's memory appears in the Windows Disk Manager?
    1.- right click on My Computer
    2.- click on Manage
    3.- click on Disk Manager
    4.- check if there's a memory of about 4GB there
    5.- right click Open if there's any.

    maybe it's being shown there... but if it's not, you'll have to wait for the TomTom Home application to connect to the device.

    Again, the TT wil not be available as a mass storage device. There is no way to access it through Windows Explorer or Windows Disk Manager etc.
